David Sackman has been with Reich Adell & Cvitan since 1988, and became a principal in 1994. Mr. Sackman has handled many complex cases involving millions of dollars in collection and bankruptcy matters, some on a national basis. He has practiced before the California and United States Supreme Courts. Mr. Sackman also teaches as an Associate Professor at California State University, Dominguez Hills.
Mr. Sackman has drafted and provided expert testimony for legislation in California. He has written for both the legal and popular press on labor law issues, and has been a speaker for International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans, professional associations, continuing professional education, and community education. He is also the co-author of A History of California Labor Legislation: Revised and Updated Centennial Edition (Queen Calafia Publishing 2012).
Prior to joining Reich Adell & Cvitan, Mr. Sackman practiced labor and immigration law in private firms and in legal aid programs for indigent farm workers. For the last seventeen years, he has had a Martindale-Hubbell rating of AV ®.
