Carlos Perez represents private sector and public sector labor organizations in employment and labor law matters in federal and state court litigation, as well as administrative proceedings and arbitrations. Mr. Perez has practiced employment and labor law since 1995. In particular, he has represented thousands of educators and other public sector employees throughout Southern California in all aspects of employment litigation including layoffs, dismissals and accommodations.
Prior to joining Reich Adell & Cvitan, Mr. Perez worked as in-house counsel for the United Farm Workers of America, AFL-CIO, where he represented the union and its members in grievances and before the Agricultural Labor Relations Board. He has lectured on labor law and related issues before members of the California Teachers Association, the AFL-CIO Lawyers Coordinating Committee, the NAACP, Los Angeles Community Colleges, the National Labor and Employment Relations Association (LERA), the Orange County Labor and Employment Relations Association, the American Bar Association and the National Academy of Arbitrators.
